There
was once a piece of news, talking about China students those got strong
impression after studying abroad in Taiwan.
They praise Taiwan
students’ imaginative ideas and friendly attitude. Because of Chinese
preservative education, they hardly can jump out of tradition bound to make a
big breakthrough. Speaking of politics, Chinese also admire successful
democracy in Taiwan.
This semester,
there are a group of China students entering in NCU. Qin Yue Ying(秦月盈), one of them is my roommate. She comes from Xi’ An Jiao Tong
University, majoring in Economics department in NCU. “The library of my home
school is full of students every day.” She said. On account of fierce
competition in China, they strive to be exceptional among people. Taiwan
students usually join club or go out together after class. However, China
students care more about their schoolwork even future career.
Teacher type is also distinguishing. “My
Taiwan teacher treats us like friends, while China teachers not care about
students like that.”
In this trip to
Taiwan, Qin Yue Ying enjoys her colorful life. Seeing NCU students’ enthusiasm,
she gets a new perspective of collage – try to learn something of everything
instead of study only.
No matter what
difference between Taiwan and China, they have the pros and cons respectively. The
most important thing is applying experience to life. And Students are regarded
as the best media to improve the relationship between the two regions.

回覆刪除I think we also have to learn from students from China such as their study attitude and ability
回覆刪除Taiwanese teachers like to say that Chinese students wakes up at 6 and recite English in some squares.
回覆刪除haha~really? I will ask her XD
刪除China's students are more competitive than Taiwanese students, so we should work harder to make us better with such good resource.
回覆刪除There are more and more China's students in NCU campus.
回覆刪除I think it's good that we can share opinions and broaden our view.
It's good that there are more and more foreign students in NCU. We can exchange each others learning attitude and know each others' countries better:)
回覆刪除When more and more people in China and in other countries are working hard,
回覆刪除it's time for us to worry about our future!
We should learn their attitude and works hard together!
It is good for both Taiwanese and Chinese students knowing each other better. Taiwanese students tend to have poorer international value.
回覆刪除Nowadays, Chinese students are well known for their hard working.
回覆刪除so i think it will be pretty nice for Taiwanese students to learn and interact with them about the culture and study.
Taiwan is just a wonderful place, isn't it?
回覆刪除According to Professor Steve, he left his wallet in the bus, but to his surprise, he found it was still there when he took the same bus next day. I think not just Chinese students are impressed at Taiwan. Americans like Professor Steve love Taiwan especially because of friendly people and the peaceful environment.
I thought she was from 清大, it seems that I was wrong.
回覆刪除Chinese students are more hard-working than Taiwanese students, maybe one day the position would change if Tainese still consider themselves superior--China turns to look down on us.
When I was in high school, my teachers always says that students from mainland China are much more hard working than Taiwanese students. However, the things taught in China are not as free as Taiwan. Therefore, I think it is better if we adopt the good things from each other.
回覆刪除It's so different between Taiwan and China students. We should learn their active attitude.:)
回覆刪除Although we may think that China's development is not as progressing as Taiwan.
回覆刪除But Chinese students are known to be much more hardworking than Taiwanese students.
We can not neglect and underestimate their ability.
People come from different countries, and they have different behaviors, too. This article showed that aithough we have these differences. Our thoughts may be the same in some way.
